Live streaming | OBS Studio

Live streaming has now become a everyday thing. Multiple YouTube creators as well as Twitch creators live stream their content to their audience.

When I first thought of it, I had many questions, like how do they do it?

What software they might be using?

When I started my research I found out about a software, which almost everyone uses for live streaming. It was OBS Studio.

OBS Studio

OBS is a free and open-source software suite for recording and live streaming. Written in C and C++, OBS provides real-time source and device capture, scene composition, encoding, recording, and broadcasting.

Data is transmitted via the Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) and can be sent to any RTMP supporting destination, including many presets for streaming websites such as YouTube, Twitch.tv, Instagram and Facebook.
